Use Privacy Guardian as your main password manager

To avoid Chrome's built-in manager competing with Privacy Guardian, turn it off:

1. Open Chrome settings: chrome://settings/passwords
2. Turn off Offer to save passwords
3. Turn off Auto sign-in (optional)

After that, use the Privacy Guardian extension for saving and filling. Enable "Keep unlocked for this session" and "Auto-fill when one match" for a smoother experience.

Common topics

• Forgot master password: We cannot recover it — your vault is encrypted and only you hold the key.
• Extension not connecting: Generate a new token in Settings → Browser extension, then paste it in the extension.
• Autofill not working: Unlock the extension first, then click Fill on the entry you want to use.
